Fresh Violence-Did it really cease people. How many innocents got uselessly mauled in Nandigram and how much more would have to loose their lives is an unattended query. Politicians have no other work than to tag the disputes with communal colours while social organizations would keep hogging money in the name of redemption. God Bless this country and its violent streak.

Hello!

I’m working on a solidarity report on the current situation in West-Bengal, for an anti-capitalist and anti-industrialist media project in Europe. The whole thing started as a short report on the most recent demonstrations around the Nano factory, but as I followed the sources deeper, the situation began to seem pretty complex.

I’m hoping for personal thoughts on the situation. I assume that the (landless) peasants won’t have easy access on the internet, so I wish you could also reflect other political stances than your own. I hope to receive some sincere reflections.

Some questions I have on my mind:

What is the relationship between BUPC and Trinamool Congress?
What is the level of autonomous grassroots oranisation among the peasants and the landless, independt of any political parties?
What is the meaning of ”balck flag” demonstrations in this context? Does it refer to the existence of an anarchist political culture, or does it have some other meaning?
Is it possible to get in touch with anti-industrial, anti-political people in the region?

Sincerely,
Molly
