The need of the hour is aggressive captaincy and that it what KP brings to the team straight away. The issue is just one test-match makes him believe that he could turn the Ashes tide which is wrong. The Aussies are a strong knit unit and to topple them on the confidence of a single game is nothing but blasphemy. KP does have the potential to lead from the front but he still has a long way to go before he can start believing in a team led by him, believing to the level where they could beat the Aussies.

Onto Clarke- he has a misconception about his ability that makes him feel like a McGrath. Clarke at this point in time is just another bowler and he can be taken to the cleaners unlike Grath who was just too difficult to be put away. It is surprising that Aussies rate him this highly for he is just a wicket to wicket medium fast bowler who could get you a wicket or two but not someone who could outrightly win a game. If there is bowler England needs to be worried about is the stupendous Brett Lee. Lee can be lethal for he is fast and accurate at most times. Better watch out KP.
