Unless you live in Pakistan, or have been here through the madness of the last year or so, it will be impossible to understand the despondency the decision to postpone the Champions Trophy is likely to cause.
For one, it is actually a cancellation....

Excellent decision by the ICC. The safety and security of players comes first and economics later. Cricketers cannot be made scapegoats to support a cricketing board of a country and the ICC to make money. I am happy.

it would have been more devastating if the teams went there and a suicide bomber blew himself up near the team bus killing the cricketers.

We hope that the security situation in Pakistan will improve because a democratically elected civilian government is in power and the biggest terrorist of them all Musharraf is gone. Give Pakistan about a year and you will see dramatic changes in the situation here.
